Thanksgiving! Whoo Hooo!

I can't wait until Thanksgiving break. Even though I have like an extreme amount of homework, I cannot wait to see the family, eat until I do not feel good and of course black Friday. I can't wait to go home and see my niece because she is getting so big and I hardly ever get to see her. Last time I went home she went with her mom to see her side of the family in Harvey North Dakota. She got to go hunting with mom. Ha. My brother got a nice 8 point buck this year and is extremely proud of it. He gets so worked up about those things just like any man does. I usually go hunting, but didn't this year and already regret it. O well I can always get that "tirdy" pointer next year. Ha.

Other than that, it is getting colder outside, so I know the snow is coming. Ugh. I am going to have to get out my winter boots which is always so depressing. But I do love the Christmas season and everything that comes with it. I love the music and decorations and overall feeling during this time of year. I hope everyone has a great break! Enjoy it while it lasts!

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.

This last weekend we held a baby shower for my cousin. She is having TWINS! This is a first for my family. She is having both a girl (Gracie) and a boy (Vincent). So, my family got together this weekend and through her the most perfect shower. It was so much fun and she got a-lot of useful gifts that the babies are going to love. She is due in February and already is super big and looks already like she is going to pop. Ha. We are all super excited and are just wishing that things continue to go well for her and her husband. I love new babies in the family! Brings so much excitement!

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Not only am I excited for a break from school, but with Thanksgiving comes BLACK FRIDAY! This has become a tradition for my cousin, my mom, my aunt and I. We get up way before the sun is up and wait in line for hours to get the good deals. Yes, we are the woman that hurl over things to get the good stuff. Sometimes, standing outside int he -30 below cold makes me wonder why we continue to do this every year. However, by the end of the day, I am already counting down the days until next year. I can't wait to get together with the whole family and talk and laugh. The woman of course go through all the adds in the papers and make sure we circle what we are going for the next day when we shop. This has become "Our Mission Items." Ha. Even though when people find out I am a black friday shopper they look at me as if I am crazy. I just tell them it's all fun and games until you see that big screen TV on sale! Ha.

The weather has been perfect; not too hot and not too cold. Just perfect. Homework and school is still stressful. Nothing new there. Volleyball is going good. I am enjoying it a-lot and it helps me to get out of the house and away from homework for a little while. Well until next time.

I can't wait for Halloween weekend! I love everything about this holiday! I am tempted to just stay home and hand out candy, but I know that will never happen. ha. Anyway, I went to Saw 6 this last weekend and I was very disappointed. I didn't feel it was as good as all the others and actually made me not want to go to the seventh one. Other than that I am super excited for this weekend! Do not know what I am going to do, but am still excited.

I had a Chem test on Monday and a 8 page paper due on Friday so I am busy, busy. I am on two volleyball teams this semester so that is another thing to look forward to, but adds to my list of things going on. I actually have my first game for the Co-ed team I am on tonight, but I have a-lot of homework and do not know if I will be able to make it. Tomorrow is already Wednesday, I am glad this week is going by fast. But that also means I better figure out what I am doing for Halloween soon. Well thats all for now! *40 Days and Counting*

There are 40 days of school left until Christmas vacation and yes, I am already counting down. I cannot wait to have almost a whole month off to not do anything and I am going to love it! School is the same old. Busy. Stressful. Taking it one day at a time.

This last weekend was nice though. Spent most of my time enjoying the somewhat warm weather. The fall and Halloween season are my favorite times of the year. I love the decorations and leaves all over the ground that crackle when you walk on them, but I hate it at the same time, knowing it will soon come to an end and snow is right around the corner. I also carved my first pumpkin this weekend. Well first one since I was like 7 years old. I never realized that it is an extremely hard task to do. If your wondering I tried to carve a bat on my pumpkin by hand...It did not look good and not to mention I almost took off a finger doing it.


I cannot believe that fall breather is already over. Last time I wrote about how I was so excited for it and now I wonder where the time went. It was very relaxing though. I ended up just hanging out, watching movies and doing some homework (very little). I am super excited for some of the new movies that are coming out in support of the Halloween season and of course will be going to at least one of the "haunted farm" places around the area. I wish I was a little kid so I could go Trick or Treating...I loved doing that as a kid. Do you think anyone would give candy to a 19 year old girl on Halloween? ha. Maybe I will try anyway! Hope all is well.

Girlfriend Getaway= A Success

This weekend was a BLAST! I recommend all you ladies out there do this "Girltime Getaway" with either your friends or your mom or girl relatives. There are two woman that put it on and it happens about two times a month. What you do is, you get on a bus (meeting most of the time in the FM area) and they take you places. Places meaning that you have no idea what or where they are. You pay a set fee of usually less than $200 and that includes your meals, the places you stop and your hotel; basically everything. It was so much fun, you guys have no idea!

We met here in Moorhead and left on Saturday morning at 7:00. Our first stop was a horse ranch in Fergus Falls where we got to tour the facilities and learn about the different events that take place there. From there we stopped in Sauk Centre and went to an Alpaca farm. It was so interesting and I learned a-lot about these creatures that I did not even know existed. ha. Next, we stopped in St. Cloud and went to a really fancy purse place called Lillian's. From there we went to a beauty school in St. Cloud and got pedicures. From there we went to a piano bar and got to see the theater and the largest urinal in Minnesota. Then we went to our hotel that was located in Lake Elmo. That night we had a comedian that literally made my stomach hurt from laughing so hard. On Sunday, we went to an Apple Orchard and got a cruise on a little boat on the clearest lake in Minnesota. We also took a trolley ride in Stillwater and got to see some giant mansions. We got home at about 7:00 sunday night.

It was so much fun to see all of these places that I would not normally go to. It was fun just to get away from this area and kick back. There is one thing I learned though; when you get 54 older woman together for a whole weekend it is pure madness! Everyone should do this! It was absolutely amazing!

That is basically all that is exciting right now to talk about. School is still hard. Like always! I am sad that my trip is over, but looking forward to fall break coming up next week. It is still cold and rainy out and I still hate it. Keep safe everyone and until next time!

Burrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!

I really do HATE winter and am not looking forward to it! It was so nice out a couple of weeks ago and now the leaves are falling and here comes the cold. I love fall when it is sunny and you can go outside in a sweatshirt. I hate when it changes from that to going outside in 9 million layers of clothes and you can't breathe cause it is THAT cold! I have survived almost 20 years of Minnesota winters, so I have to keep telling myself that I can survive another one. Can you believe though that it is not even here yet and I am already sick of it! ha.

School is the same. Two tests next week, but that is not what is on my mind this week. I am so excited for the weekend and my "girls getaway" that the week cannot go by any faster. I am a little worried because I have no idea where we are going! It will be fun though no matter where we go so I am not too worried about it.

On Monday, I went out to eat with some friends for one of my friend's birthday. We went to Applebees and I hate WAY TOO MUCH! Seems like that always happens when you go out to eat though, doesn't it? Anyway, there was like 15 people there and we had a good time. Too much laughing for one night because my abs hurt today....does that mean I am out of shape? I think so. ha. Well other than that things are going well. I just hope it does not get any colder!! Till next time. Stay warm.

Here we go again....

School. School. School. This will be the basics of my life until May. A new school year has started and I am now into my sophomore year. My summer was good, but it went by too fast like always. I took a couple of classes so it really was not much of a summer. I did have a wonderful time not being as stressed as usual and was actually able to hang out with friends, go to the lake and do absolutely nothing. It was long overdue. So now school has started up again and it is back to the same old stuff. Homework of some kind every night and no time or energy to do anything else. ha. It is not all bad though. I got to see my school friends that I missed over the summer and to tell you the truth, you can only do absolutely nothing for so long. It just takes a while to get into the groove of things. This semester I already know will be hard, but I will survive through it like I always do.

There are a couple of things I am looking forward to that are coming up in the next couple of weeks. One of them is that I get a Mary Kay pampering session that I won on the "college night" at the Fargodome. It will be amazing, but I know when I am done I will want to buy all the products, which I know I can't afford. ha. I get to bring up to 3 friends to get a facial and hand therapy with one of the cosmetics consultants. I am super, super excited. The second thing I am excited for is I get to go on a little trip called a "Girls Getaway." It is where you sign up for a trip to different places. You all get on a bus, but the catch is that you have no idea where you are going. They take you to different tourist places and shows. The entire weekend is a surprise. My mom did it before and they went to a really funny comedian and had a entire day at a spa. I am counting down the days, but at the same time I am scared because I do not know where they are taking us.

Otherwise, there is not much else going on. I have had weddings the last 3 weekends and then I have two more back to back in two weeks. It is the summer for weddings, that's for sure. Weddings and engagements were the talk of the summer. Well, that's all for now. I am starting the countdown till schools done for the year! HA.

What a super busy week! Lab reports, essay papers, tests and so many other homework assignments that I completely have no time on my hands. I feel so stressed to get things done on time that I really can't wait for summer and be done with all of this. Next week is the beginning of finals and then this semester is finally over with. Other than that I went home last weekend and got to see my brothers puppies. There are 8 of them and they now have their eyes open and are wondering around the shop. They are too cute and every time I go see them I want to take one home with me and my heart breaks a little when I don't get to. Otherwise, I can't wait until this week is over. Last weekend, I painted at the house I am living at next year, so I am pretty excited about that. This weekend I am helping the person I am living with move into the house considering it was just bought and closed on Thursday. Therefore this whole situation is brand new and very exciting. Hey all, The next two weeks of my life are going to be super super busy. With the end of the semester and year coming close it seems like everything is due all at once. Therefore, I am super stressed out and wish I could just take a break from it all. Besides school, the next two weekends I will be painting and moving into the place where I will be staying at from here on and because of that I am extremely excited. I am living with a friend from back home in a house located by Concordia. Other than the stress from school and excitement about my living arrangements there is not much else going on. Hey everyone,
It is so nice outside and I am loving it. I hope it keeps getting warmer and warmer everyday outside. The teachers are started to pack on homework now so instead of going outside and enjoying the weather, I am stuck inside writing papers and reports. My brother's dog had eight puppies two weeks ago and they are adorable. In two weeks they have doubled in size. There are four girls and four boys. One of the girls I have already chosen to keep. One boy is extremely fat and very very noisy. They are 1/2 golden lab and 1/2 mutts. They do not have their eyes open yet so that is what I am waiting for. Otherwise, Easter was fun. I went to my grandmas and ate like twice of what I could have handled. Tonight my friends and I are going to get FREE sundaes at the DQ. Can't pass that up. Well that's all for now. Have a good one.

I hope you all are still staying dry! Being at home for three weeks in a row made it very hard to come back and get into the groove of going to classes again. I almost forgot where my classes were..lol. Well at least the teachers are being nice and working with the students' schedules to make things fit before the end of the semester. I had a teacher actually give us points on a test we were suppose to take three weeks ago and never did. That made me feel really relieved considering I was not ready to take it. Otherwise the teachers are being very good with cutting material and organizing schedules so that things get done. I am really excited for having one of my classes canceled so I really don't have to do anything productive until about noon ha. Homework is going to get heavy started next week, but so far this week it is the usual. I hope the crest of the river stays low so we dont have to go through everything again. The flu is also going around. My roomate has the stomach flu and hopefully I won't get it. I don't remember the last time I was sick actually and I remember not being sick hardly ever when I was little. I hope that doesn't change. Well that's about all for now. Stay dry and safe everyone

This weather is insane! Way too much snow and wind, which is not a good combination. I did enjoy the day off from school yesterday, but it made it so much harder to get up and go to school today. Because of the day off yesterday, my second class tomorrow is canceled therefore I only have one class so that's really exciting. I can't wait for spring break, which is right around the corner. I don't have any major plans, but not having to go to school is enough. I am really getting anxious for spring and being able to go outside without having to get all bundled up. Other than that there is nothing else really know. Just a-lot of excitement for spring break to come and all that. Well stay warm everyone.

This past weekend was amazing at the resort. The room was huge and the slides and water park was so much fun. It felt nice to be away and some place different. This week however, has not been fun..So far, I have had a four page paper due, a two page paper, a 7 page lab report, a lab brief, plus 3 tests on Friday..I'm absolutely swamped. All my tests on Friday are really really hard and I am not excited because I don't know how well I'm going to do. On the bright side, the weekend is coming and coming fast and so that's a good thing. This week I am super busy with homeowork and papers to write. Next Friday I have three tests in a row...it kinda stinks. So, I'm starting to study now, but it is not going very well. I recently finished reading the second book of the Twilight Series. It was amazing...that is probably why I am so behind on my homework because I was reading that book too much. This week is has gone by pretty smoothly so far. Not too much homework and only one quiz and hopefully it stays that way. Monday night my friend and I watched a chick flick and it was so funny. I don't remember what it was called though. For Valentines day I got a scarf, heart blanket and a pillow from Justin and some PJ pants and cookies from my mom. I went out to eat at Ruby Tuesdays and had a shrimp pasta thing, it was really good. This weekend I plan on staying home and being lazy and I spose I will try to get some homework done. The weekend of the 27th my mom, Justin and I are going to Arrow wood resort in Alexandria MN. I am so excited and it should be so much fun. Well thats all for now. Have a good one.

I am having an awesome week. I had a Personal Finance test on Monday that I did better on than I thought I would. Today my English class was canceled, so I made a run to Target to get a Valentine's day gift and also ran to IBM to get started donating plasma. I am in need of money so hopefully donating plasma will help. I have a test tomorrow in Anthropology that I really need to study for, but I think it will be ok. I am so excited for tomorrow because my friend and I are going to eat Chinese food. I have been craving for Chinese food for months. Friday I have class until 12:30 and after I get to go home and watch my niece. She is almost 9 weeks old and already has her four chins going. It has been a really good week so far and I hope it stays that way..Well ttyl

So, this last weekend I rented the movie My Best Friend's Girl. It was pretty good, but not as good as I thought it was going to be. One of my friends has gotten me addicted to the Twilight series. I am on the second book and can't stop reading it, which is not the best when I have homework. My down for this week is that I have three tests this Friday and all of which I am not prepared for. I am totally swamped with homework that it is almost unbearable. I can't wait for the weekend just because there is too much going on and not enough time to relax. haha. Well that's all for now. I can't believe how fast time goes by. It is almost Valentine's day already, it is crazy. School is about the same, a lot of homework and two tests already next week. I went out to eat last night to Bennigans and it was amazing. I am going to a hotel in three weeks that has an indoor pool and slides and such, I am pretty excited for that. I have no idea what to get my boyfriend for Valentines day, like usual. I will probably get him something for his pickup, haha. Other than that nothing is new here, just the same old same old stuff. I hope everyone is enjoying this ''warm'' weather like I am. It is insane how 20 degrees above zero feels like a heat wave. My aunt lives in Florida and she said it was 50 degrees and their was a wind chill advisory lol. Wow, don't they have problems. Anyway, this last weekend was fun. Didn't really do much but relax the whole time which is why it was fun. I watched Batman-The Black Knight for the first time, It was awesome. I worked out on Monday night for the first time in over a month and I am still so sore that it hurts to even move (Yes, I'm out of shape). For school I have like 5 papers to write within the next week so this next weekend won't be as relaxing as the last. Hm...I think that is about it for now. Take Care.

Hey Everyone,
So the new semester has started and I am already wishing it was near the end! It's hard to have to get back into the routine of getting up early and going to class, everyday. It's weird that the next thing to look forward to is spring break and it seems like it was just yesterday I was looking forward to Christmas break. Classes are going good so far (it's only the third day). I'm thinking some will be really hard, but I will get through it. Otherwise, besides school there is not really anything else new. Can't wait to go home for the three day weekend and see my little niece. Every time I see her she looks like a completely different baby. Oh by the way if your wondering, her name is Piper and she is four weeks old. She is pretty much all my family talks about because we are still getting use to having her, even though I don't think she will ever become boring or not part of every topic my family talks about. Anyway, It's also extremely cold out! I saw four people today wearing just sweatshirts! I wanted to ask them if they were insane considering I am bundled up like Randy on the Christmas Story, (hopefully you've all seen it). Well that's all I have for you all today.
